The aim of each course is to enable all students to discover the joys of new skills, stretching their creative ideas in a relaxed environment and allowing the learner to try different techniques. All courses are tutored by myself, an established professional practitioner and qualified teacher. The courses are limited to six students and are suitable for beginners and those already familiar with some jewellery making techniques. Individual tuition is given to every student, working at their own pace.
The workshop is well equipped with tools but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. A good stock of silver, gold and semi-precous stones are avaliable to purchase if required. Copper, Brass and gilding metal will be provided. It is a good idea to bring an overall / apron and a sketchbook. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are always available.
At the moment the courses are run over 10 weekly terms (some people get hooked and keep on coming!) Classes are on Monday and Tuesday
afternoons and evenings, 1-4pm and 6-9pm. £165.00 per person for 10 weeks. I also run all day workshops (a ploughmans type lunch included) and I am planning to do weekend courses too. For information on availability please use the details found in the contact section.
