LEARN TO MAKE JEWELLERY

The aim of each course is to enable all students to discover the joys of new skills, stretching their creative ideas in a relaxed environment and allowing the learner to try different techniques.

All courses are tutored by myself, an established professional practitioner and qualified teacher. The courses are limited to six students and are suitable for beginners and those already familiar with some jewellery making techniques. Individual tuition is given to every student, working at their own pace.

The workshop is purpose built for the teaching of traditional skills of the jeweller, it is very well equipped with tools but please feel free to bring your own if you have any. A good stock of silver, gold and semi-precious stones are available to purchase if required. Base metals are provided. It is a good idea to bring an overall / apron and a sketchbook. Please wear sensible shoes, there is both hot and heavy metal in the workshop!

Tea, coffee and biscuits are always available.

At the moment, courses are run over 10 weekly terms (some people get hooked and keep on coming term after term!) Classes are Monday afternoons and evenings and Tuesday mornings, afternoons and evenings ( 9am-12, 1pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm)
Please let me know if you would like me to send you a brochure.

These are £210.00 for 10 weeks.

I also run day and weekend workshops, these start at 10am and finish at 4:30pm, a ploughman's type lunch is included. It is advisable to contact me for information on availability and dates as the courses tend to book up very quickly.
Price is £85 for the all-day workshop.
